Use OnTracx Pro and run screenings on your phone or tablet

Open the Pro platform inside the OnTracx app with your professional account and run screening tests over the Bluetooth of your phone or tablet.

As a professional, you don't need a laptop to use OnTracx Pro. You can open the Pro platform inside the OnTracx app on your phone or tablet, log in with your professional account, and run screening tests using the Bluetooth of your phone or tablet.

ℹ️ For screening and lab tests, we recommend the OnTracx app on a tablet over a web browser. In the app, the Bluetooth connection with the sensors is much more stable, and the app is allowed to reconnect a sensor that drops out. In a browser, it isn't.

Open OnTracx Pro on mobile

  1. Download the OnTracx app from the App Store or Google Play. Already installed? Update it to the latest version.

  2. Log in with the email address of your professional account.

  3. (go through the athlete onboarding, perfectly normal)

  4. Tap Profile in the bottom menu, then tap the settings icon ⚙️ (top right).

  5. Scroll down to the Professional section and tap Professional.

OnTracx Pro now opens inside the app. You're logged in with your professional account and see the same athletes and data as on pro.ontracx.com.

ℹ️ Don't see the Professional section? It only shows up when you're logged in with an email address that has a professional role in your practice. Check that you used your professional email address and that your app is up to date.

Run a screening test on your phone or tablet

  1. Open OnTracx Pro in the app (see the steps above).

  2. Open the athlete's profile and start a new screening, just like you would on pro.ontracx.com.

  3. Wake up both sensors and connect them. The app connects through the Bluetooth of your phone or tablet. Allow Bluetooth access when the app asks for it.

  4. Follow the steps on screen to complete the test.

For a full walkthrough of the test itself, see Perform a Load screening.

Tips for a stable connection

  • Keep your phone or tablet close to the treadmill, with a clear line of sight to the sensors.

  • Turn off other Bluetooth devices nearby that you don't need during the test.

  • A phone works fine, but the screen is smaller. A tablet gives you a better overview during the test.

✅ You can now follow up your athletes and run screenings wherever you are, straight from the OnTracx app.
