Worldwide. Op 36 Clubs can ship anywhere — both retail customer orders and coach wholesale orders. Shipping costs vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.

When do I get paid for affiliate commissions?

Commissions are tracked automatically as soon as a customer completes a purchase through your link. Payouts happen on a regular schedule — your specific cadence and minimum payout threshold are shown in your affiliate dashboard once you're enrolled.

How do I get paid?

Will I get a 1099?

If your earnings cross the federal reporting threshold in a given year, yes — you'll receive the appropriate tax documentation. You're responsible for reporting affiliate income on your own taxes regardless of whether you receive a form.

If my student returns the clubs, do I lose my commission?

All Op 36 Clubs are custom-made to your student's specifications and are non-returnable. Because there are no returns under normal circumstances, affiliate commissions on completed orders are not reversed.

Manufacturing defects are handled separately under warranty — those don't trigger a return, they trigger a repair or replacement. See the warranty question below for details.

Does the wholesale pricing combine with other discount codes or sales?

No. Your wholesale pricing is your discount — it doesn't combine with promotional codes, seasonal sales, or other coupons.

How do I place an order as an enrolled coach?

What's the lead time on clubs?

Custom manufacturing completes in 5 business days from when the order is received. Shipping time is in addition to that. So a typical timeline is: order placed Monday → manufacturing done by the following Monday → clubs ship that day → delivery depending on shipping speed (usually a few additional business days).

For local pickup orders (where available, for coaches and customers within 50 miles of Coeur d'Alene, ID), the 5-business-day manufacturing window is your total wait. You'll receive a notification when the order moves from manufacturing to fulfillment / ready-for-pickup.

Who pays for shipping?

Standard shipping is paid by whoever pays for the order — the customer (on affiliate orders) or you (on coach wholesale orders). Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order size, and are the same for both types of orders. The 10% wholesale discount does not apply to shipping.

Is local pickup an option?

Yes, for coaches and customers within 50 miles of Coeur d'Alene, ID (near Henry-Griffitts manufacturing). Local pickup is shown as an option at checkout when your address qualifies.

What products are eligible for the wholesale discount?

Can my student return the clubs if they change their mind?

Op 36 Clubs are custom-made for each golfer's specifications and are non-returnable. Each club is built specifically for that student — shaft length, grip size, flex, and lie are all custom. Manufacturing defects are covered separately under warranty (see below).

Set student expectations up front. When you fit a student and place an order on their behalf using your wholesale account, make sure they understand the clubs are being made specifically for them and can't be returned. Most coaches handle this naturally as part of the fitting conversation.

What does my student see when they order through my affiliate link?

They see the standard op36shop.com retail checkout. The tracking happens behind the scenes — they pay retail and see no different pricing, no banner, no indication that you're earning a commission. Their order, invoices, and account behave the same as any other Op 36 Clubs customer.

What does my student see when I buy clubs for them with my wholesale account?

The order is in your name, on your card. The clubs ship to whatever address you provided at checkout. You handle anything you want to share with the student (price, paperwork, hand-off). Op 36 is not in the middle of your coach-student transaction.

Will my facility branding appear on invoices?

Yes — if you set up your coach profile with your facility name and logo, your facility branding will appear on retail invoices that you view through the coach portal. This includes invoices you generate to share with students or for your own records. Customer-facing order invoices remain Op 36-branded so the customer sees a consistent buying experience, but the invoice view you use as a coach reflects your business.

Who handles warranty claims if a club fails?

For warranty inquiries, email op36clubs@henry-griffitts.com (the Henry-Griffitts team mailbox). Include the order number and a description of the issue. HG handles warranty resolution directly.

Are these clubs made specifically by Op 36, or by Henry-Griffitts?

Op 36 Clubs are designed and curated by Op 36 in partnership with Henry-Griffitts, who manufactures every club to spec. Henry-Griffitts has been making custom-fit clubs for decades; you'll sometimes see their name on shipping labels, warranty paperwork, or in the manufacturing details. It's not a separate product line — it's how Op 36 Clubs get made.

Can I see what my student's invoice will look like before they order?

Yes — coaches who use the coach portal can generate retail or wholesale invoice previews for any fitting in the system before the order is placed. Your facility branding (if you've set up a coach profile with logo and facility name) appears on retail invoices the coach views.
