Duplicating a property can be helpful if you are trying to save time when you need the property to appear twice in your account. There are a couple of different ways to duplicate a property. The first is manually duplicating while the second involves duplicating the property during the Secondary Intake Form submission.

Below you will find how to duplicate a property during the Secondary Intake Form creation and approval. If you want to manually duplicate the property instead, jump ahead to this section.

Duplicating a Property Using Secondary Intake Forms

Duplicating a Property When Creating a Secondary Intake Form Template

When you are building out a Secondary Intake Form, you can choose to have it duplicate the property once the property is approved.

Step 1:

Create the Secondary Intake Form as you normally would. For more information on creating Secondary Intake Forms, click here.

Step 2:

After creating the form, click on the Duplication section under Settings.

Step 3:

Check the box labeled Duplicate Property to enable duplication for this form. You also have the option to duplicate the property's Tasks, Triggers, Documents, Contacts, or Notes.

Duplicate When Approving a Property Through Secondary Intake Form Submissions

You can also choose to duplicate the property during the approval process of the property submission.

Step 1:
Click on the Secondary Intake Form submission's address link. You can do this from the Intake Form Submissions widget on your Dashboard, the Intake Submissions option on the navigation menu in the Submitted section, or the new Data Request Dashboard.

Step 2:
A right panel will appear with the option to enable a duplication. Select the checkbox labeled Duplicate Property.

Step 3:
Below the Duplicate Property checkbox, you will see additional checkboxes to select which aspects to duplicate: Tasks, Triggers, Documents, Contacts, and Notes.

Please Note:

Even if you enable the duplication setting in the Secondary Intake Form Template Settings, you will still be prompted to confirm if you want to duplicate the property during the approval process.

Step 4:

Once you have selected to duplicate the property, click on the Approve Intake Form button.

Manually Duplicating a Property

You can duplicate an existing property by going to the Property Details drop-down and selecting Duplicate from the list.

You will see a new window that goes over the details of what will be duplicated. This includes Fields (details), Documents, Contacts, and Notes. There are some drawbacks to this since you will be duplicating these aspects, some of which may not be relevant in the duplicated property.

Since this is duplicating the details for the entire property, it could take a few minutes for it to process the request. Please keep the window open until it is finished duplicating.
