Duplicating a Property

Duplicating a property can be helpful if you are trying to save time when you need the property to appear twice in your account.

For example, if you have a property already created for the listing portion of a transaction, you can duplicate it once you get into the contract to close (CTC) portion of the transaction. There are some drawbacks to this since you will be duplicating fields, documents, contacts, and notes, some of which may not be relevant in the CTC portion.

If duplicating a property sounds like the best fit for what you are needing, go to the property details page. On the left side, you can click on the green button next to Details, and select Duplicate from the list.

You will see a new window that goes over the details of what will be duplicated. This includes Fields (details), Documents, Contacts, and Notes.

Since this is duplicating the details for the entire property, it could take a few minutes for it to process the request. Please keep the window open until it is finished duplicating.
