Duplicating a property can be helpful if you are trying to save time when you need the property to appear twice in your account. There are a couple of different ways to duplicate a property. The first is manually duplicating while the second involves duplicating the property during the secondary intake form submission.
Below you will find how to duplicate a property during the secondary intake form creation and approval. If you want to manually duplicate the property instead, jump ahead to this section.
Duplicating a Property Through Secondary Intake Forms
For more information on creating Secondary Intake Forms, click here.
Creation of Secondary Intake Forms
A property can be duplicated by creating a secondary intake form.
Step 1:
Create the Secondary Intake Form as you normally would.
Step 2:
After creating the form, click on the Duplication section under Settings.
Step 3:
Check the box labeled Duplicate Property to enable duplication for this form.
Step 4:
Below the Duplicate Property checkbox, you’ll find additional checkboxes to select which aspects to duplicate: Tasks, Triggers, Documents, Contacts, and Notes.
Approval of Property Through Secondary Intake Forms
You have the option to duplicate the property during the approval process of the property submission.
Step 1:
Click on the secondary intake form submission. You can do this either from the Intake Form Submission widget or by finding the submission in the left panel under the flame icon in the Submitted section.

Step 2:
A right panel will appear with the option to enable duplication. Select the checkbox labeled Duplicate Property.
Step 3:
Below the Duplicate Property checkbox, you’ll find additional checkboxes to select which aspects to duplicate: Tasks, Triggers, Documents, Contacts, and Notes.
NOTE:
Even if you enable the duplication setting in the secondary intake form settings, you will still be prompted to confirm if you want to duplicate the property during the approval process.
Manually Duplicating a Property
For example, if you have a property already created for the listing portion of a transaction, you can duplicate it once you get into the contract to close (CTC) portion of the transaction. There are some drawbacks to this since you will be duplicating fields, documents, contacts, and notes, some of which may not be relevant in the CTC portion.
If duplicating a property sounds like the best fit for what you need, go to the property details page. On the left side, you can click on the green button next to Details, and select Duplicate from the list.
You will see a new window that goes over the details of what will be duplicated. This includes Fields (details), Documents, Contacts, and Notes.
Since this is duplicating the details for the entire property, it could take a few minutes for it to process the request. Please keep the window open until it is finished duplicating.
