Fields are a very important part of Open To Close since they are used to gather the details of the transaction and automate the various aspects of the system. Deleting one can disrupt every transaction currently using that Field. This also includes templates, smart blocks, and intake forms. Be sure you are deleting the correct Field since this action cannot be undone.

Start by going to the hammer icon and select Field Editor.

Find the Field you want to delete and click on it. This will open a new side panel on the right with all of the details for the Field. At the bottom, there will be a trash can icon in the lower right corner that you will need to click on.

It will can take several minutes for the Field to be deleted across your account. Please be patient and do not try deleting it again.

If you need to delete multiple Fields, you can do so by clicking on the boxes to the left of the Field names. This will present different options at the bottom of your screen including a Delete button.
