To protect student privacy, restricted student accounts can not upload photos for their profile photos. Instead, they can create an avatar using our avatar creator. We are using avataaars for this integration, and you can see all the options available here.

When they first sign up to join a class, students will be assigned a basic avatar with minor random variations. They can later personalize their avatars in their user profile settings.
