If you are giving a public workshop or planning a hackaton, you can create a class on OpenProcessing to invite students and share projects with each other. A public class allows those who are not part of your class still see that contributors and sketches submitted to you class. This is a great way to show off the projects and share activity for your event with followers.
If you would like to keep your class activity between you and your students, you can set your class private and keep it away from anyone's eyes. With a private class, you also have the option to set student accounts Standard or Restricted if you are teaching in an institution subject to student privacy regulations (such as FERPA or COPPA). Learn more about student account types here.
For either option, below are also true:
Users have to join your class before submitting sketches. You can invite users/students to your class by clicking on Invite Students button on your class page, and sharing the custom invite link with your students through your LMS system or communication channel.
You can change this setting anytime, however any student accounts already created as Restricted or Standard to join your class will stay as is.
