Openstage lets you give team members access to your artist account via Teams. Access is managed at the team level across two permission tiers:
Admin - includes access to billing and fan data downloads
Non-admin - no access to billing or fan data downloads
⚪ Note: Admin access is determined by the team's settings, not by individual users. To give a user admin-level access, add them to an admin-level team.
Your default team
Every artist account starts with one default team. The default team is always admin-level and includes the user who created the account.
Create a new team
Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
Click + New Team.
Name the team and choose whether it should have admin-level access.
Delete a team
Select the trash icon in the Operations column next to the team you want to remove.
🟡 Please note: Deleting a team removes all users assigned to that team.
Add a team member
Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
Select the team to add the user to, or create a new team and select it.
Click + New User.
Enter the email address for the new team member.
Select the artist account the new team member should have access to.
🟡 Please note: If the user is new to Openstage, you must send them a password reset link so they can create their password and set up 2FA. See the steps below.
Send a password reset link
Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
Select the team containing the user.
Select the user's email address.
Click Change Manager Password.
In the popup, select Send Reset Link Email Instead.
A password reset link is sent to the user's email address. If they do not receive it, ask them to check their junk or spam folder.
Remove a team member
Navigate to Settings > Artist Settings.
Select the team containing the user.
Select the user's email address.
Click Remove.
🟡 Please note: Removing a user from a team only removes them from that specific team. If the user has access to multiple teams, they must be removed from each team individually to fully revoke their access to the artist account.
🟢 Top tip: To change the email address used to log in, add the new email address as a new team member first, then remove the old email address by selecting it and clicking Remove.
Two-factor authentication
All user accounts require 2FA to be set up. See Set Up Two-Factor Authentication for more detail.
