The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open Edlio Accounting. It gives you a high-level view of your school's money — how much cash you have, what's waiting for your attention, and what's happened recently — so you can see the state of your accounts at a glance.
You can return to the Dashboard at any time by clicking Dashboard in the top navigation bar.
The summary cards
Across the top of the Dashboard are four summary cards:
Total Cash Balance — your total cash across all bank accounts.
Pending Approvals — the number of transactions waiting for review. A Review now link takes you straight to them.
Undeposited Receipts — money you've received but not yet deposited, with a count of receipts.
Outstanding Checks — checks that have been written but not yet cleared, with a count of checks.
The Dashboard sections
Below the summary cards, the Dashboard is organized into a few panels:
Upcoming Tasks — time-sensitive items such as a bank reconciliation due date, 1099 preparation, or a monthly board report.
Top Fund Balances — the balances of your most active funds. If no funds are active yet, this shows "No active funds."
Month-to-Date — your Total Receipts, Total Disbursements, and Net Change for the current month.
Recent Activity — recent transactions, such as checks you've taken in or money you've sent out. Use the View all link to see the full history.
The Dashboard is read-only — it reflects activity recorded elsewhere in Accounting. To bring money in, go to Receipts; to send money out, go to Disbursements.
