Browser and Network Troubleshooting for Edlio Pay (OSP)

Fixes for scrambled pages, errors, pages that won't load, blocked messages, and missing emails, including what district IT needs to allow.

Who this is for: school staff, district IT, and parents using Edlio Pay (OSP).

Start here

Most display problems and unexpected errors are caused by the browser or the network, not by your account. Try these steps in order:

  1. Use Google Chrome on a computer. Some pages don't work well on phones or in other browsers.

  2. Open a private or incognito window and try again.

  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then reload the page.

  4. Try a different computer or network. For example, if you're on a school network, try home or a phone hotspot.

If the page works on another computer or network, the problem is with that device or network. Your IT team may need to make the changes below.

The page looks scrambled or unstyled

If pages show plain text, oversized icons, or a broken layout, your network is probably blocking files the site needs. Ask your district IT team to allow these addresses through the web filter or firewall:

A cached older version of the page can also cause this. Clear your cache or try an incognito window.

A blank page, a white screen, or menus that don't work

  • Try the "Start here" steps above.

  • If menus open behind other content or don't respond on a phone or tablet, use a computer.

  • If many people in your district see the same thing at the same time, contact Edlio Pay support. It may need to be fixed on our side or with your district IT.

The help chat covers part of the page

Zoom out in your browser (Ctrl and minus on Windows, Cmd and minus on Mac), or make the browser window larger. Then minimize the chat window.

Error messages and pages that won't load

  • Parents: an error at checkout doesn't always mean the payment failed. Check your bank account and Order History before trying again. See Parent Help.

  • If you see "unexpected error," a 503 error, or a page that won't load, wait a few minutes and try again.

  • If it keeps happening, contact Edlio Pay support with a screenshot, the time it happened, and the page you were on. Include the server name and version shown at the bottom of the page if you can see them. This helps us find the cause quickly.

"You are blocked" message

This message comes from the device or network you're using, not from your Edlio Pay account. It can happen on some public, work, or international networks. Try an incognito window, a different network, or a different device. Parents who still can't pay can contact the school to ask about other ways to pay.

The Edlio Pay link or tile is missing from our district portal

Your district manages its own student or staff portal. Contact your district help desk to add or fix the Edlio Pay link or tile.

We stopped getting emails from Edlio Pay

This includes nightly sales reports, undeposited receipt reports, statements, and password reset emails.

  • Check your spam or junk folder.

  • Ask your district IT team to allow email from osmsinc.com. District email systems sometimes block or limit automated emails, and Edlio Pay can't fix this on our side.

  • To add or remove people on report emails, contact Edlio Pay support. See Reports and Daily Notifications Guide.

What to send Edlio Pay support

If the steps above don't fix the problem, include:

  • your district and school

  • the link to the page you were on

  • your browser and device (for example, Chrome on a Windows laptop)

  • the exact error message, with a screenshot

  • the date and time it happened

  • whether it happens on another device or network
