Importing Financial Data: Bulk Receipts and Historical Balances via CSV in Edlio Accounting

How to format, upload, and validate CSV files to import bulk receipts, historical accounting balances, and event sales batches into Edlio Accounting.

Bulk Data Import in Edlio Accounting

Entering hundreds of individual receipts manually after high-volume school events (such as athletic ticket gate sales, book fairs, or orientation registrations) is time-consuming. Edlio Accounting provides a native Imports wizard inside Receipts to ingest bulk financial transactions from standardized CSV spreadsheets directly into your general ledger.

💡 Best-Practice Adoption Tip: Always download the official template directly from Receipts > Imports > Download Sample CSV before formatting your data. Verify that all Fund Account codes, Object codes, and transaction dates (YYYY-MM-DD) exactly match your active chart of accounts to prevent import validation errors.

    • CustomerName or StudentID

    • FundAccountCode

    • ObjectCode
