The Time Commitment Needed for OTO Each Day

Learn about the time commitment needed for OTO each day — what's involved in wearing the device and completing your daily check-in, and how it fits into a patient's routine.

01. Overview

Most users spend around 15–20 minutes a day, 3–5 days per week, on OTO. This includes completing the physiological assessment and following the day's activity recommendation. The approach is designed to integrate into a patient's existing routine without causing disruption, while still providing impactful insights into their fertility journey.

02. What the Time Is Spent On

Daily assessment

Each check-in involves wearing the OTO sensor for a short reading session, during which the device captures biometric data across the body's key systems. This is the core data-collection step that feeds into the patient's Fertility Index and CNS Readiness score.

Activity recommendation

Based on that day's assessment, the app generates a personalized activity recommendation — for example, a specific type or intensity of movement, or a recovery-focused rest day. Following this recommendation is what makes up the remainder of the daily time commitment, and it can often be folded into activity a patient would already be doing (a walk, a light workout, or rest).

03. How It Fits Into a Patient's Routine

Because the assessment is brief and the activity recommendations are typically things patients can incorporate into normal daily life, OTO is built to sit alongside a patient's existing routine and clinic care plan rather than add a significant new burden during what is often an already demanding treatment process.
