Create Trainings via the Mobile App

Full Admins, Directors, and Team Staff can now quickly create training events right from the mobile app. When viewing the Team Calendar tab, simply tap the Add button and choose “Create Training Event” to get started—no need to jump to the web to manage your team’s training schedule. Options to modify and delete trainings are also available, making it faster and easier to schedule and manage trainings on the go, keep your team informed, and ensure your calendar stays up to date.


Creating Training Events on the Mobile App

1. On the Team Calendar, select New, then tap on Create Training Event.

Note: Team Staff will not be able to create training events if training visibility is OFF. Admins will need to enable training visibility for team staff to proceed with training creation.

2. The Training Event prompt will display on the screen. Use the option below to enter event details:

3. Choose the Event Frequency.

  • Single Training: Select this option if creating only one training event.

  • Recurring Series: Select this option if creating multiple training events that will take place on the same day of the week, time, and location/surface for a team over the course of a few weeks/months during the season.

4. Next, select the event time and duration.

  • For recurring series, enter the beginning date, ending date, and select the days of the week for the trainings.

5. Tap to input the Location of the event using Google Places, and then enter the surface name. (optional)

6. Enter a description for the training(s) or Team-Specific Notes. (optional)

7. Once complete, click Save.

8. Once saved, team members will receive a push notification, and the training(s) will display on the mobile app and on the Team Calendar via the Team Page.

  • Note: System calendar visibility for app-created Trainings will be available soon.

Managing Training Events on the Mobile App

Training events created via the mobile app can only be modified in the app. Follow the steps below to modify an existing training event(s) created via the mobile app.

1. Go to your My Calendar or the Team > Calendar view. Tap on the training event to open it.

2. Select the Edit button.

3. For recurring training events, select the Training Events to Update: Either to edit Only This Training or This & Future Events.

  • Note: If you select ‘Only This Training’ for an event that’s part of a recurring series, that event will be detached from the series and managed as an individual training.

4. Select the RSVP Update option: Keep RSVP Responses or Clear RSVP Responses.

5. Next, make any necessary changes to the training, such as modifying the event status, date, time, location/surface, description, or team-specific notes.

6. Once complete, select Save. Team members will receive a push notification when changes are made.

To remove a training event, click the Delete icon. If the event is part of a recurring series, you’ll be asked whether you want to delete just that single event or delete it along with all future events in the series.
