Organizational Admins and Team Staff have the option to either keep or clear existing RSVP values when editing any team-related events, so they can decide if event changes require team members to submit new RSVP statuses. Follow the steps below to keep or clear RSVP statuses for events:
1. When editing any existing team event (game, training, or basic event), a section titled ‘Existing RSVP Statuses’ is displayed with two options available to be selected:
Keep Event RSVPs: Selecting ‘Keep’ will retain the existing RSVP status submitted by team members for the event.
Clear Event RSVPs: Selecting ‘Clear’ will remove the existing RSVP status submitted by team members and set their status back to a blank value.
2. If the event is part of a recurring series (trainings or basic events), and ‘Update Future Events’ is selected, choosing ‘Keep Event RSVPs’ will retain all existing RSVP statuses for all events in the series. Choosing ‘Clear Event RSVPs’ will remove all existing RSVP statuses for all the events in the series and set them back to blank values.
3. Neither ‘Keep’ nor ‘Clear’ is preselected by default when editing an event, but choosing one is required to save any changes.
4. If team members need to submit a new RSVP status for a team event, they would then return to the mobile app to submit their status for the newly edited team event.
