Binding a Fee or Discount on Player/Staff Registration Forms

When setting up player or staff registration forms for the season, you can bind fees or discounts to an order based on the registrant’s responses. This option is available for checkboxes, dropdowns, and multiple-choice fields. To use this feature, first create your fees or discounts in the Fees & Discounts tab for the season. Then, when building your forms, simply bind a fee or discount to a checkbox or apply it based on answers to dropdown or multiple-choice questions.

Checkbox

Click Add Form Item and choose Checkbox. Hover over the form item and click the Edit button. When editing, under the Data Binding heading, choose Select. A dialog box will display on the screen; select the fee or discount to apply to the checkbox.

When a registrant selects the checkbox during registration, the fee will be applied to the order.

Dropdown Menu

Click Add Item and choose Dropdown Menu. Hover over the form item and click the Edit button. The bind icon will display for each choice when hovering over the option after adding the input choices for the dropdown. Click on the bind icon (dollar sign) adjacent to the input, and a dialog box will display on the screen; select the fee or discount to apply to the checkbox.

When a registrant selects the choice that has a fee or discount bound to it during registration, the fee will be applied to the order.

Multiple Choice

Click Add Item and choose Multiple Choice. Hover over the form item and click the Edit button. The bind icon will display for each choice by hovering over the option after adding the input choices for the dropdown. Click on the bind icon (dollar sign) adjacent to the input, and a dialog box will display on the screen; select the fee or discount to apply to the checkbox.

When a registrant selects the choice that has a fee or discount bound to it during registration, the fee will be applied to the order.
