GAME RESCHEDULES:
To reschedule a game, simple edit the game and enter the new date/time/location for that game. The system will default to send an email notification to all contacts who are associated with that game in the system (i.e. Team Contacts, Division Contacts, Assignors, Referees, etc.)
Referees who are assigned to games that are rescheduled will either be dropped from the rescheduled game OR their assignment status will revert to "invited", allowing them to confirm the rescheduled changes. This is controlled by Assignment Settings in the Referee/Officials Management solution.
GAME CANCELATIONS:
If you don't yet have a new date/time/location for a game that will be rescheduled, the best practice is to edit the game and remove the date/time/location (moved to a TBD section on the schedule). This will ensure everyone associated with the game will be notified of the cancelation.
If referees have been assigned to a game that is canceled, they will a) be notified of the cancelation via email and b) be removed from game assignments for that date/time so they are available for another game on the canceled date/time.
