There are several different ways to add game officials to an assignment:
Creating game crew templates and adding them to the season/group
The first method is to create a game crew template or pick from the existing templates you already have. To do this, navigate to Settings > Referees > Game Crew Templates. You will see a template dropdown on the right-hand side to see any pre-existing templates you already have. If a new one needs to be added, click on the mini menu, then select Add Template.
Next, give the template a name and click Add. Once saved, you can add roles to this template, i.e., Center Ref, Assistant Ref, etc.
When adding a role, fill out the Role Code and Full Role Name fields. You can also add in the role pay if applicable, and if this role can be a Game Reporter. You can also add the rating level and pay mode. The bottom section allows you to decide if this game is Self-Assignable, i.e., a referee who matches the criteria can accept this role without being sent an invit,e and Is Transferable means a referee who originally accepted the invite has the option to make that assignment available for someone else to pick up.
To add this Game Crew Template to a season/grouping, navigate to Programs > choose your program/ season > Scheduling > Referee Settings. Once in the correct season to set a template for the entire season, click on the edit icon next to the season name.
Add in the Game Crew Template you created by clicking on the Select icon, or add new roles manually.
You can also set the template at the gender or age group levels if different templates are needed for different age groups, i.e., U18 Boys has a different set of officials than a U9 Boys group.
Once saved, that role will be added for that season
2. Add roles manually
The second method would be to add the roles manually on the assignments tab. To do this, navigate to the Assignments tab and click on the edit icon next to a game.
Click the "Add Role" icon to add the necessary roles for this game.
