How Do I Make or Update a Credit Card Payment on a Registration Order?

Learn how to make a payment, pay ahead on an installment plan, update the card on file, or pay a past due balance, all from your Registration Order History page.

Accessing Your Registration Order History

  1. Log in to your organization's registration portal. If you need the registration portal link/URL, please contact the organization you are registered with.

  2. Click My Account to expand the options.

  3. Click on the Household tab under the My Account section of the main dashboard.

  4. Click on the View Registration Order History link.

Making a Payment or Updating Payment Information

  1. On the left side of the Order History tab, click the order you want to pay or update.

  2. At the top of the order, a payment bar shows your remaining balance and, when a payment is due, $X due now in red. Choose the option that fits:

    • Click Make a Payment to pay what’s due now, or to pay ahead, up to your full remaining balance.

    • If the order is past due, click the red Past Due amount of $X Pay Now button instead. It opens the same payment dialog, starting at the past-due amount.

    • Click Edit Payment Info to update the credit card on file for an upcoming installment.

    • Click the green Pay with CC button to pay with a credit card, even if cash or check was originally selected as the payment method.

Note: Make a Payment is hidden while an order is past due, and while an earlier payment is still being processed (for example, an eCheck that hasn’t settled).

Choosing How Much to Pay

The payment dialog lists each order item with Amount Owed, Due Now, and Payment Amount. Payment Amount starts at Due Now. To pay ahead, increase it for any item, up to its Amount Owed.

If you pay more than what’s due now and more than one installment remains, choose where the extra goes:

  • my next payments due (default)

  • my last payments first

  • all my remaining payments, each lowered by the same share

  • pay remaining balance (pays every item in full)

Due dates don’t change, and what’s due now is always paid first. See Can I Pay More Than What’s Due on My Installment Plan? for a worked example.

Click Continue to Payment when your amounts are set.

Choosing Your Payment Information

You can pay by card or eCheck, depending on what your organization accepts. Choose one of the following:

  • Apply Info only to THIS Payment (default): uses the card or bank account you enter for this payment only. Your saved information for the remaining installments stays the same.

  • Update Info for remaining Order Installments: also replaces the saved card or bank account for the remaining installments.

  • Pay with my payment information on file: shown only when your saved card or bank account can be used. Nothing to enter.

You can always update your payment information again later.
