If teams were manually added, and the team application was not used, follow these steps to rename a team if it's wrong once the schedule is created.

Please follow these steps:
From the admin home screen, click Elements
Choose Season Structure Wizard
Click on the appropriate season (ex. 2008)
Select the division
Click the link Edit Team Names (green link on the top left-hand corner of the screen)
It will tell you that any changes made will occur in all seasons. It's warning you that you will change the history of this team if it existed previously. If this team existed last season, you will change their team name in the current and previous seasons. It is best to create the team again in this case. However, if this team is only in one season or you don't care about overriding the history from previous seasons, change the team name and save your changes.
Go to the schedule (in admin mode) and see if the changes took place. If they did not, you would need to modify each game and select the appropriate team. If the changes did take place, check it publicly. If you do not notice the changes taking place publicly (make sure you wait at least 15 min. since your change).
