Scheduling games is now easier than ever by setting up Date and Time Restriction rules. You can now accommodate holidays, test dates, and generally control when games should be played in Tournament Management and League Scheduling.
β
To access this feature, go to: Admin Home -> Elements -> Scheduling Admin -> Setup -> and click Date/Time Restrictions (Note: this is only visible for leagues that are scheduled by Field Permits, not by Time Groups). If you are using Date/Time Restrictions for the first time, you should see a pop-up window. Otherwise, click on the green MOD button, and you will be able to define the scheduling restrictions by dates, days, ages, and gender. You can also define game start and game end time, or if there should be no game at all that day.
β
The restriction settings will correspond to the following columns. Notice you can set Long-term Settings for any day of the week (DOW) for any age group(s). (For example, you can set up U9 players to start games in the morning, while the U17 players' games may start in the early afternoon).
β
When you generate a schedule, these rules are automatically applied and enforced. When you edit a game, these restrictions will appear on the screen if they're applicable to the teams, and will provide warnings if the game is not in compliance with your rules.
