When creating training events, the time zone will default to the time zone where your organization is based. For example, an organization based in Los Angeles, California, will default to Pacific Standard Time (PST) when creating events.
Even though the timezone will default to the organization's location, it will change if the location selected for the event is in a different timezone than the organization. For example, while this organization is based within the PST timezone, since the location selected is in the Central Standard Time Zone (CST), the time zone will change to match the location on the add/edit screen.
For any training events that are created for a location within a different timezone, the Training Schedule report will show the default timezone for all events, regardless of whether they are scheduled at a location in a different timezone. For example, the T23 training event’s location is in the CST time zone, but the time for the event is shown in PST since that is where the organization is based.
When modifying any training event with a location in a different timezone, the respective time zone for the location will be displayed and not the timezone for the organization.
