How to make a map with Notion

Use PamPam's Notion integration to instantly map any database.

Updated this week

If you use Notion to keep track of places, then this is the easiest way to turn that into a map. You can embed that map back in your Notion, or share it as a link and app.

How to import from Notion

1. In a new PamPam map, start a new import.

  • Click "Add" then "Import from Notion"

  • Or click the Cloud in the bottom toolbar

  • Then click "Notion" as the external data

2. Connect your Notion account to continue

3. Allow PamPam to view pages you select

4. Select the pages you want to share with PamPam, or select a workspace

Click " Allow access"

4. Select the correct database to import and click Continue

Note: If the database menu is empty, then it didn't sync correctly - please try again.

5. Map the fields in PamPam to the columns in your Notion, then Save

Click "Advanced settings" to see more options, or "Add" to add more custom fields in your PamPam.

6. Finally, "Sync" to create your map

Use "Match" if you want your map to match exactly what's in your Notion table. Or use "Only add" if you just want to add your Notion table to your existing map or spots.

7. Choose how your spots looks like

Choose the display type for your spots by clicking on the wallet in the toolbar. This will change all the spots in your map at once, and set the default for spots added in the future.
