Updated over a week ago

If you're building out a director, travel guide, or map that might be valuable to folks - you might be interested in monetizing it. At the moment, PamPam doesn't have a way to paywall a map, or accept payments on maps - however we have suggestions for ways you can monetize your maps outside of PamPam.

How to monetize your maps

  1. Paywall your map - If you want to charge for access to your maps or guides, you may want to create a Substack, Patreon or something similar that allows you to paywall content. You can then add a link to your map as a Substack post, which is only available to paid subscribers.

  2. Find a map sponsor - You can find 1-2 sponsors for your map, where they pay a monthly fee to have their logo on the map. This can work specially well for event maps or directories.

  3. Charge to be on the map - If you have a map or directory with businesses or organizations, you can try asking them to pay a monthly fee to be on your map.

  4. Affiliate links - Because you can add links to your PamPam map, you can add affiliate links to your map.
