Freight Distribution Options:
Enter multiple costs, each with a unique name, and apply those costs to specific freight entities (Lump Sum, Manufacturer, Lot, or Line Item). You can then choose how to apply those freight costs and select the method in which it's calculated (Flat Fee, % of Extended Discounted Cost, or Per Quantity). This enhanced view allows for much more flexibility when distributing freight charges within your quote.
Lump Sum: Lump sum is a generic application across the entire quote. It can be applied in a % or flat fee. The reference for the percentage calculation is from the entire Extended Sell Price of the BOM including Lots but excluding options and services.
Manufacturer: This is an application where the freight has a flat fee or a % for an entire manufacturer. The reference for the percentage calculation is off of the extended sell price for all line items which belong to that manufacturer, across all sections, that are not in Lots.
Lot: This is an application of freight whether a flat fee or a % against a singular Lot present in the Lots modal. The reference for the percentage is the extended sell price for the specific lot.
Line Item: This is an application of freight whether a flat fee or a % against a singular line item. In this case the reference for the percentage is the extended sell price of the line item (in addition the โPerโ option).
