Step by Step:
Once your products have been uploaded to your BOM, click on the respective checkboxes of the products that should be part of the Kit.
Select the Create Kit (+) icon. A blank line will appear where you can enter in the Kit information whereas all the products selected will fall below into components.
You can always click into the (-) next to the Kit type to manage the existing components (remove from KIT, add, hide, delete etc).
When ready to compile your package, head into the Contents Formatting section and toggle on Show Kit Components if you're looking to showcase the line item components in your table of contents. Toggle off Show Kit Components if you're looking to only show the Kit line item but all the datasheets associated to it.
As for Quotes, the cost of the kit will be the sum of all component costs plus any margin or discount if applied. To have reflected on your quote, toggle on Show Kit Breakdown
