Vertical segments categorize products to refine your datasheet search, product matching, and manufacturer dashboard β€” ensuring results are relevant to your specific market.

1.Supported Vertical Segments

Parspec supports the following verticals and sub-segments:

Vertical

Sub-Segments

Electrical

Lighting, Gear, EV, Solar, Commodities, Automation

Plumbing

Fixture/Finish, PVF, Industrial

Mechanical

HVAC/R, Fire Protection

2.How Vertical Segments Affect Your Account

Each account can be assigned to one or more verticals. Here's how your assigned vertical impacts your experience:

Datasheet Search β€” Parspec surfaces datasheets from manufacturers relevant to your vertical. If a manufacturer supports multiple verticals, Parspec can still return the correct datasheet based on the part number.

Product Finder β€” When crossing products, results are tailored to the manufacturer and vertical assigned to your account.

Manufacturer Dashboard β€” Only manufacturers that support your assigned vertical will appear and be available to add to your Company Manufacturers list.
