Difficulties with palatability / Does not like Pawy / Difficult dog or cat

Updated over a week ago

Sometimes our furry friends have difficulty changing their habits (even if it's for something better😊).

Here are several options you can try:

  1. Test our three recipes. Like us, our furry companions sometimes have their preferences.

  2. Slightly warm up the meal; it might be too cold for their taste. This will also release the aromas of our recipes, making them more appetizing and enjoyable.

  3. Don't hesitate to let them taste a tiny amount of food (by slipping it into their lips) and show them how good it is.

  4. Hand feed them. Try giving individual pieces of their food by hand. This can comfort them and encourage them to eat.

  5. Another solution could be to mix in a very small amount of broth.

  6. Avoid overfeeding treats. Too many rewards can lead to picky eating habits. Use treats in moderation to maintain a healthy diet.

  7. Establish a regular feeding program. Consistency is key when it comes to feeding your pet. Regulate your companion's appetite by encouraging regular habits.

  8. Consult your veterinarian if your pet's picky eating persists and you're concerned about their nutritional intake. You will get personalized recommendations.

This process can take some time, and often just requires patience and persistence for a few days. But as the saying goes, love knows no bounds.

If none of these solutions work over several days, unfortunately, there's not much else that can be done.

Pawy can not offer refunds in cases where your pet does not eat the meals.
