See a video of how to do this here.
Before you start
Gable appears on the website you build with the PayHOA Website Builder, so set up your website first. See How to Create Your Website in PayHOA.
Open AI Chatbot settings
Go to Other Tools.
Select AI Chatbot.
You can also get here from the AI Chatbot tab in the Website Builder.
Turn Gable on for your website
Under Where AI chatbot appears, find the Website channel.
Turn it on. If you haven't set up your website yet, select Set up to go to the Website Builder first.
Note: Your website is public, so anyone on the internet can chat with Gable there. If Gable is also turned on for your Homeowner Portal, that channel is only available to homeowners who are logged in.
Choose what Gable uses to answer questions
Gable always uses PayHOA Help Articles to answer general questions about payments, invoices, and the portal. You can also give it your own community documents:
Under Community Documents, choose Select from the documents to use a document already in your PayHOA Documents, or choose Upload to add a new one, such as your CC&Rs, bylaws, policies, or guidelines.
Wait while Gable analyzes the document.
For each document, choose whether it's available only to your homeowners or also to your public website.
Tip: Only make a document available to your website if you're comfortable with anyone in the public being able to ask Gable about it.
Customize how Gable works
AI chatbot personality: customize how Gable communicates, such as its welcome message and how it refers to your association.
Behavior & Fallbacks: choose what happens when Gable can't answer a question, such as offering a handoff to a person.
Test Gable
Use Test your chatbot to ask the kinds of questions your homeowners are likely to ask and see how Gable responds. The website preview works once the Website channel is turned on.
You can add, remove, or replace documents at any time, then test again. When homeowners ask Gable for more help, their messages appear in your AI Inbox. See How to Manage AI Conversations in the Inbox.
