Learn how to use the pay template in the Payroller mobile app with our simple guide below.
The template section of the employee is used to automatically set future pay runs for an employee. This feature may come in handy if your employees have regular additions to their pay runs in addition to their ordinary work hours.
For example, if your employee regularly works overtime or has salary sacrifice deducted or even has a set tax amount, you can do all of these from the template section of each employee.
To do this, click on people
Select the relevant employee.
Select ‘Edit’.
Select ‘Pay Template’.
Some additions you can make to the pay template include:
Bonus
Extra hours (Ordinary hours and overtime-exempt from super): In the extra hours section you can add in additional hours that you would like to specifically define
Allowances (award transport payments, cents per kilometre, task, laundry, overtime meal, qualification, travel and accommodation, tool and other allowances)
Deductions (Fees, Workplace Giving, Child support garnishees, child support deductions, Fringe Benefit)
Superannuation (Employer contribution and salary sacrifice)
Fixed Tax
To add extra hours, allowances, bonus/commission or deductions, select the relevant titles.
Enter the details as needed and select the tick icon in the top right-hand corner.
Now when you run a new pay run the template will be set to this pay template.
You can edit these directly on the pay run or edit the pay template by simply going back to the pay template screen.
