Create Contacts - Customer/Vendor (Beginning Balance Part 2/8)

Prepare information to create contact in PEAK

There are 2 methods to create contacts (customer/vendor) in your entity as follows:

Method 1: Creating Contacts One by One

Method 2: Creating Contacts by Importing Excel Files (PEAK Template)



Method 1: Creating Contacts One by One that are by following 2 options.

Option 1: Add a contact in Contact menu.

Option 2: Add a contact in a document generation page.


Option 1: There are 2 steps of adding a contact in Contact menu as follows:

Step 1: Go to Contacts menu > Press Add New Contact.

Step 2: When pressing add new contact > Press "Advanced".

2.1 Search by name > If your vendor is VAT registered with the Revenue Department,
you can search their name in PEAK and the system will automatically show the
information of the vendor based on the Revenue Department's system and press
Okay.

**The searched name should be Thai name according to the registration name to the Revenue Department**

2.2 Search by 13-digit tax identification number and press search. PEAK will
automatically show the information of the vendor based on the Revenue
Department's system and press Add.


2.3 If the vendor information is not found, please fill in the information as needed.

Option 2: There are 2 steps of adding a contact in a document generation page as follows:


Step 1: In the step of generating documents, press "+Add New Contact" in the field of customer name.

Step 2: When pressing add new contact > Press "Advanced".

2.1 Search by name > Once click "Search", please choose the contact and press Okay.

**The searched name should be Thai name according to the registration name to the Revenue Department**

2.2 Search by 13-digit tax identification number > if all the information shown, which is
based on the Revenue Department's system is already correct, press Add.


2.3 If the vendor information is not found, please fill in the information as needed.

Method 2: Creating Contacts by Importing Excel Files (PEAK Template).

This method is the importing a substantial amount of contact information. The information imported can be up to 1,000 contacts by following 4 steps,

Step 1: Go to Contacts menu > Press Import Contact button.

Step 2: PEAK will suggest you download a template form for filling in contacts
information >> click Download this form (.xlsx).


Step 3: Fill in the excel form. There are two sheets in the excel file such as

  • Description: Describes how to fill in the information, including examples.

  • Import Contact: For filling in multiple contacts importing.

Step 4: When all information is already filled in and the excel file is saved in your device. Please import the file into PEAK program by dragging then dropping it or clicking Search to select the file and pressing Confirm.
