Prepare information to create inventory in PEAK

The product/service information imported into PEAK program is the beginning balance of inventory. There are 2 methods of adding the information as follow:

Method 1: Adding directly to Product menu.
Method 2: Adding by importing excel files (PEAK Template)

Method 1: Adding directly to Product menu.

Step 1.1 Go to Product menu > Product/Service > + Add Product/Service

Step 1.2 When pressing + Add Product/Service, there will be a pop-up page.

In the page of adding product, there are two types of the adding, which are basic and advanced level. In advanced level, you can fill in standard sale/purchase price information. Also, the accounting record information can be added.

Product Information

Product Name = Specify the name of a product.

Product Description = Detail of a product.

Barcode = check mark to the barcode box (if any) (In the future, you can search the
product by using its barcode)

Product Unit = e.g. Box, Stick, Time, Year.
If you do not want to use the existing product units in PEAK, you can add a new
product/service unit here.

Product image = If you have an image of the product/service, you can attach it with
a square size and its size cannot be more than 5 MB per image.

In advanced level, you can fill in standard sale/purchase price and accounting entry information.
Standard Price

  • Standard Sale price/unit = the selling price per 1 unit of product

  • Standard Purchase price/unit = the purchase price per 1 unit of product

  • VAT rate = The valid VAT rate of 7%, 0% or not applicable (No VAT)

    Accounting Record

  • Record sale = It can be linked to a chart of income accounts

  • Record purchase = If there is purchase or sale of goods, it can be linked to a chart of the following accounts, which are finished goods, work in process, and etc.

  • Cost Calculation = Please turn on this function If you want PEAK to record the accounting entries by Dr. Cost of sales Cr. a chart of account automatically linked for purchase of goods.

  • Brought forward = The beginning balance of inventory (if any)

After filling in all information, press Save.

Method 2: Adding by importing excel files (PEAK Template)

Step 2.1 When importing the information, please see as below.

  • Import product > Select product tab > Import Product.

  • Import service > Select Service tab > Import Service.

Step 2.2 Press Download this form (.xlsx).

When you click to download PEAK template form, an Excel file will show descriptions that are the guideline for filling information.

Step 2.3 When all information is already filled in and the excel file is saved in your device. Please import the file into PEAK program by dragging then dropping it or clicking Search to select the file and pressing Confirm.
