Create each type of bank accounts (NF002)

You can create bank accounts for various types of transactions, such as recording payments, receiving payments, or managing financial information for your business by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the "Finances" menu >> "Cash/Bank/e-Wallet" >> "+ Add New Channel"

Step 2: Click on "Advanced" and enter the details of the bank account. Specify whether the bank account is for receiving payments, making payments, or a checking account. Click the "+" button to add the bank account.

Bank: Select the name of the bank used by your business.

Account Type: Choose from savings account, current account, or fixed deposit account.

Account Name: The system will assign a name based on your business name, which you can edit it.

Bank Account Number: Enter the account number as listed in your bank passbook.

Branch Name: Enter the branch name as listed in your bank passbook.

Branch Code: Enter the branch code as listed in your bank passbook.

Description: You can add any additional information or description as needed.

Select the Purpose of the Bank Account: For accepting payments, making payments, or a cheque account.

Step 3: Record the opening balance of the bank account.

Step 3.1: Go to the "Accounts" menu, then select "Daily Journals" followed by "Create Daily Journal"

Step 3.2: Enter the transaction description, select a bank account number, enter a sub-account and input a debit amount. If you am not sure about an account for a credit side, you can use a suspended account before (Adjust in later). Enter the same credit amount as the debit side. Click "Approve" to finalize the transaction.

If you have multiple bank accounts, you can click the "+ Add New" button to add additional entries.

For this example, you will have an opening balance of this bank account for 100,000 Baht
