When data is uploaded from the School MIS through Xporter, some parents or staff may withdraw their consent to share their data. To prevent data from being transferred out of Groupcall Xporter, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Within your schools Xporter portal select “GDPR” – “Review GDPR Data Controls”
Step 2: Select the relevant partner app from the drop-down list located at the top of the screen. You should see the partner’s name in the top left once selected
Step 3: Use the tick boxes to change an individual’s opt-in/opt-out status
Step 4: After making all the necessary changes, click "Save Changes" in the top right corner. [Note: Please refer to the attached screenshot for steps 3 and 4. Additionally, only a school-level user with the appropriate access permissions can complete this task.]
Step 5: Log onto your School Tali Organisation
Step 6: Hover over the "Admin" tab and click "Manage Names"
Step 7: Use the filter box to find the student(s)
Step 8: Once the student has been found, tick the box next to their name (The name will then become highlighted)
Step 9: Once the name is highlighted, click on "Out of Use" which is located within the "Batch Actions" box
Step 10: Click "Update Name(s)"
