What is Stripe and why am I giving it my bank details?
Stripe is a secure online payment platform. Think of it as PayPal for businesses to send and receive money.

Stripe invests billions each year to ensure safe and secure online payments.
By using Stripe, Pegasus ensures your payments are safe and secure.
You will never have to interact with Stripe once you connect your bank account via Pegasus.

Connect your bank account
Click on the + icon.
This will open a new tab in your web browser - click on it.
Follow the instructions to connect your bank account.
Click 'Agree' and 'Submit'.
You will be redirected back to your Finance settings tab in Pegasus.
Your bank account is now connected.
Note:
When you connect your account, select the bank account you wish to receive your Pegasus earnings.
When you get to the final stage of connecting your account, be sure there are no red warnings that you are missing key details. If there are, rectify them to ensure a successful connection.
Change Your Bank Account
Click on the pen icon in the connected bank account field.
A modal will open with two options:
Change linked bank account - this will repeat the same Stripe connection process you completed when first connecting your bank account.
Remove this bank account - this will simply disconnect your bank account.
Note: You cannot remove your bank account until you close all your events and transfer all your funds out of your Pegasus account.
FAQ
Why is my account information still being verified by Stripe?
Stripe is a secure payment processing company. It takes necessary precautions to ensure a person's banking information is accurate and secure before authorizing its use within the Pegasus platform.
That said, most bank accounts will be approved and authorized immediately.
If your account is not approved immediately, it will take a maximum of 48 hours to be approved.
If your bank account still says ‘Pending’ 48 hours after connecting your account, please message Pegasus customer support and we will expedite the connection for you.
