Step-by-step guide to create an event

1. Click the 'New Event' Button

2. Connect Your Bank Account

If you try to create an event before you connect your bank account, you will be asked to connect your account. This is to ensure you are able to accept registration payments.

3. Select Event Type

Select one of four event types:

  • Licensed competition. An equestrian competition that is licensed by an affiliate or governing body. This feature is coming soon.

  • Unlicensed competition. An equestrian competition that is not licensed by an affiliate or governing body. This feature is coming soon.

  • Clinic. An equestrian event hosted by a clinician. Typically it is reserved for riding training, but it can include other professional demonstration events such as a clinic on horse nutrition hosted by a qualified equine nutritionist.

  • Other. Any other event that does not include competitors and clinics. This may include a Pony Club education night, a trail ride, or an event such as Fourth of July fireworks hosted at your property.

4. Name Event

Give your event a name and click 'Next'.

  • Note: You do not need to put all the event's details in the event title as is customary with old event management systems. Pegasus will show riders all relevant data about your event automatically.

5. Select Discipline(s)

Select your event's discipline(s). You can select more than one. If you wish to make it open to all equestrians, select 'All'.
