FAQ

Do I have to create an account for a child or team member to be able to register them for an event? Do I need to create an email address for them?

Yes. Every Pegasus profile must have a unique email address, and every rider must have a profile. You cannot reuse your email address for multiple accounts and you cannot add team members to your profile without them first creating their own profile.

The good news is that you only have to do this once. Once a profile is set up, you can register for as many events as you like quickly and easily, as well as view all past events, bills, paperwork, etc.

I'm being overcharged and don't want to register until my bill is correct. What do I do?

This is bug that is being fixed by Pegasus staff today (Friday, May 24th). If you encounter this, click 'Pay' and choose to pay 'Cash or Check at the horse show'. This will allow you to complete your registration now, and by the time you pay on site at the event, your bill we be updated to reflect your accurate fee.

As of Monday May 27th, this will no longer be an issue.

Do I need to register my horse on the app before registering for an event?

Yes. You must add horses to your profile in your profile settings, in order to be able to select them during the registration process. If you are not riding a horse during the event, then you can register without a horse by selecting ‘No Horse’ when registering.

Do I need to register my horse before signing up for an event?

Yes. You must add horses to your profile in your profile settings, in order to be able to select them when signing up for an event. If you are not riding a horse during the event, then you can register without a horse by selecting ‘No Horse’ when registering.

There is no back button on the event registration.

If you need to go back a step during the registration process, you can click the step up top you wish to return to.

Do not jump forward steps using the tabs up top, as the platform requires that you go through each step of the registration process in order.

Once you have completed all steps and reached the ‘Payment’ screen, you can jump around between steps as you wish.

Are fees outside of registration mandatory or optional to pay for?

All fees, except governance fees, are optional and are set by the event organizer.

When you get the to ‘Fees’ page during the registration process, you will select the type and quantity of fees you wish to include in your registration.

Organizers will add notes to each fee that you can read during the registration process. If they insist that you purchase a fee, they will stipulate it there.

If you do not add a fee during registration, there is no way for the event organizer to know that you require that item in advance.

This may result in you not having access to that resource when you arrive.

Why can’t I sign my paperwork?

There are two locations you will sign paperwork:

1. In the ‘Sign’ tab during event registration.

2. In your ‘My Paperwork’ tab.

During Registration

If you cannot sign paperwork during registration, there may be a couple of problems:

1. You have not added yourself as either a registered rider or a team member of a registered rider, meaning you are effectively not registering for the event and thus don’t need to sign paperwork.

2. You are a minor and have listed a guardian who will sign on your behalf.

In this case, the platform will send the event paperwork to the guardian to sign.

My Paperwork

You can view and sign documents in your ‘My Paperwork’ dashboard.

Documents that have not yet been signed will have a ‘Sign’ button in the far right column.

Click that button to review and sign the document.

If the document has already been signed, the button in the far right column will say ‘View’.

Click that button to open and view the signed document in a new tab in your browser.

If the button in the far right column says ‘Sign’ but when you click it, it does not open a modal to sign the document or display the already signed document, then there may be a problem with the platform.

In this case, please contact the Pegasus support team via the chatbot.

My card isn’t working for payment.

What are mandatory fees and how do they charge?

Mandatory fees are fees added by the event organizer that every person registering a horse for the event must pay. For example, they may charge an Office Fee or Drug testing Fee that you must pay if you are registering for the event.

Mandatory fees are charged per horse registered per show. So if you register two horses across five classes, you will be charged each mandatory fee twice.

If you register as a spectator or auditor, and thus are not registering a horse, then you will not be charged mandatory fees.
