FAQ

My discipline isn’t listed on the filter.

If your discipline isn’t listed on the filter, you have three options:

1. You can select ‘Other’ as a filter option. This will display all the events that do not match the standardized event categories and disciplines.

2. You can select ‘All’ as a filter option. This will display ‘All’ event types. The event you are looking for may be captured in this search.

3. Enter the name, or a descriptive word for the event, in the search bar. The Search bar will search all events and return those with event names with your search terms.

If the event you are looking for used your search word in its event name, it will display for you.

What is the other category in the filter?

The ‘Other’ category is used for events that do not match one of the listed filter options. For example, if someone was to create a Pony Ride event, they would likely tag it as ‘Other’ as we do not have a category for ‘Pony Rides’.

What types of events would be in the other category of the filter?

‘Other’ category events will include everything that does not match one of the listed filter options. When an event organizer creates an event, they will select ‘Other’ if the list of filter options available does not match their event.

How can I use the filter to search for events?

You can use the filters in five ways:

1. You can use each filter individually. For example, if you want to search the platform for all event types of a single discipline, you can engage that discipline filter only.

2. You can stack filters to find very specific events. For example, you can select an event type, a discipline, specific dates, and registration prices. The platform will show events that only meet these specifics.

3. You can stack filters and filter types. For example, you can engage a bunch of filters, as well as enter an address in the location filter to limit the area you want to search for events.

4. You can search visually using the map. Please note that the map is not connected to the rest of the filters. Instead, it will just show you all the events in an area you are looking at. Filters that are in use will be pink in nature. To remove them, click the pink ‘X’ next to their name, or click the ‘Reset’ button to clear all filters.

What disciplines are not offered on Pegasus?

We have added features for most mainstream disciplines already. If we are missing a discipline, please click on ‘Feature Request’ in the chatbot and our team will add it to the platform soon.

Why can’t I filter by breed?

To filter by breed, search the list of filters under ‘Discipline’.

Many of the breeds that regularly host breed-specific events are listed.

We have not added support for all breeds as there are far too many.

If you believe we are missing a popular breed in our list of filters, please submit a Feature request in our chatbot so we can look into it.

In the meantime, if you want to find a breed event that is not listed, type the breed into the search bar and the platform will return events with that breed's name in the event name.

What’s the difference between licensed and unlicensed?

Licensed events are events that have been licensed/sanctioned by a governing body, such as the AQHA, USEF, or PRCA.

Unlicensed events are events that have not been licensed/sanctioned by a governing body.

Neither Licensed of Unlicensed events are exclusively competitions, but most will be.

How can I clear my filters?

Filters that are engaged will display as pink.

You can remove filters in one of two ways:

1. To remove filters individually, click the pink ‘X’ next to the filter you wish to remove. All other filters will remain engaged.

2. To clear all filters, click the ‘Reset’ button. This will remove all filters.
