Unable to complete holiday data import due to data loader validation messages.

We compiled below a list of holiday data worksheet validation messages and their description:

Details

Please check your dates include working days

To ensure all holidays land on a working day for your employees, review their working pattern.

'First Name' & 'Last Name' are not correct for given EmployeeId

To check the employee ID of your employees, check out their personal record.

Employee(s) with 'Employee Id' does not exist in system

In your worksheet, you have employee IDs that don't match those you store in PeopleHR.

Overlapped holiday entries exists in excel file

One or more holiday records for a certain employee overlap.

Holiday 'start date' must be after employee 'start date'

To review the employee's start date, check out their personal record.

Holiday too far into future

You can only load holiday records in the past and up to one holiday year in future.

There is already an existing absence entry during the period requested. Please edit or split the entry so the dates do not coincide.

To check the overlapping holiday or other events, check out the employee's planner.

Invalid duration

Ensure the holiday duration format is as follows: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 and so on.

"Column_Name" contains invalid data

Ensure the column highlighted contains data with the same format, order and name as the original worksheet template.

Holiday setting is in Days but Duration is in hours [or vice versa]

Check out how the employee’s entitlement is measured in their planner settings.

End date should not be less than Start Date

Review the holiday start and end date.

"Column_Name" is Mandatory

Ensure you fill in the column highlighted.

Data Exceeded permissible limit

The data exceeds the character limit of the fields in PeopleHR.
