Approver is not receiving request emails

Managers are not receiving emails from their direct reports regarding annual leave.

When a user submits an annual request, an email will be sent to the approver listed within the authorisation rule.

If you or your managers are not getting email notifications about the user's requests, you will need to check and follow the steps in the appropriate section below.


Request appears in authorisations however, no email has been sent

If the request appears in the authorisations tab for the correct approver, but the user hasn't received an email for the request, this likely means that the email has gone the Spam or Junk folder.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you received the PeopleHR emails in your Spam or Junk folder or simply do not receive these, ask your IT to whitelist the IP addresses and domains.


Not receiving emails and request has gone to the wrong approver

If the request has gone to the wrong approver in the system, you will need to check and follow the steps in the article below to ensure your authorisation rules are set up correctly.
