When to use these client Email Templates

Use these templates when:

  • Contact your clients about your recent transition to Perchwell

  • Invite them to Perchwell

  • Follow up with passive or past clients

Template 1: Inviting buyers to download the mobile app

Use this for active buyers you collaborate with on searches and listings. This is the one most agents will send.

Subject line option:

  • A better home search is on its way to you

  • Here is your Perchwell invitation.

Body:

Hi [CLIENT FIRST NAME],

I'm upgrading the core system I use to work with you, moving from Paragon to a modern platform called Perchwell. One of the things I’m very excited about is the new mobile app. We can collaborate on our search and chat about listings from there.

Here's all you need to do:

  1. Watch for an invitation email from Perchwell.

  2. Click to accept and set a password. You will use your email as the username and the password your set to log in.

  3. Open it up and take a look. Your searches are waiting for you in the Search tab.

A few things you might like right away:

  • You can favorite listings, and message me about any of them in one place, so I always know what's catching your eye to best support your search.

Template 2: Buyer or general client (light touch, no Perchwell invitation)

Use this when you'd rather keep working over email and text and don't plan to invite the client into the portal. It states the change and sets expectations without asking anything of them.

Subject line:

  • A small change on my end (nothing you need to do)

Body:

Hi [CLIENT FIRST NAME],

I'm upgrading the MLS system I use, moving from Paragon to a modern platform called Perchwell. This new tool gives me more tools to better serve you in your home search.

There’s nothing that you need to do, however, the listings and reports I send will look a little different, and that's about it. Nothing changes about how we work together, and there's nothing you need to do.

Template 3: Seller client

Use this for clients with an active listing. Check out our article on sharing listings to learn more about sharing public links.

Subject line:

  • A quick update about your listing

Body:

Hi [CLIENT FIRST NAME],

I wanted to give you a quick update about your listing. Our MLS is upgrading the core system I use to manage listings and work with you, moving from Paragon to a modern platform called Perchwell.

This change has no impact on your listing's visibility. Your listing will remain live everywhere buyers are looking, including Zillow, Homes, and Realtor, and the other sites and agent searches that drive traffic to it.

Template 4: Passive or past clients (search alerts)

Use this as a light relationship touch for past clients or people in your sphere. It's not asking for anything. It just notes the upgrade and plants a flag that the experience is better when they're ready.

  • When you're ready, the search just got better

Hi [CLIENT FIRST NAME],

I hope you're doing well. A quick hello and a small update: I've upgraded the MLS system I use to help clients buy and sell, moving from Paragon to a modern platform called Perchwell. It makes searching and staying on top of the market a lot smoother.

As part of this change, the email alerts that I send you will look a little different than what you’re used to.

There’s no need to do anything on your end. I hope you enjoy the new look and feel.
