PerfectMatch: AI Shopping Quiz offers four placement types that control how shoppers launch the quiz. You pick and customize the placement in the quiz builder's Placement tab — the quiz itself always opens in a modal overlay on top of the page.

A floating button pinned to the page that stays visible as shoppers scroll. Great for site-wide visibility without taking up space in your layout.

Options: button text, background color, corner radius, position (9 choices — top, middle, or bottom, combined with left, center, or right), and behavior (sticky as shoppers scroll, or floating).

A full-width banner with a heading, subheading, and a call-to-action button. Best when you want the quiz to be a prominent invitation on a home page or collection page.

Options: heading text and subheading (defaults: "Not sure if this is right for you?" and "Take our quick quiz to find your match!"), banner background color, and button text and color.

A simple button that sits within your page content, right where you place the block. A good fit for product pages ("Not sure? Find your match").

Options: button text, background color, and width — fill the available space or size to the text.

A slim bar across the top or bottom of the page. The most subtle option — ideal when you want the quiz available everywhere without interrupting the design.

Options: bar text, background color, and position (top or bottom of the page).

The placement styling is chosen per quiz in the builder, but the widget itself is added to your storefront as a PerfectMatch block in the Shopify theme editor — that's where you decide which page templates show it.
