How do I translate or customize the quiz text shoppers see?

Edit or translate the quiz's storefront labels — results, product card, and loading text — at shop level or per quiz.

Written by ZP Support Team

All the standard text shoppers see in the quiz widget is editable, so you can translate it or match it to your brand voice. You can change:

  • Results — "Your Perfect Match", "Take Quiz Again"

  • Product card — "Add", "Sold out", "Unavailable", "One-time purchase", "Subscribe & save", "per delivery"

  • Loading & errors — "Finding your perfect match...", "Something went wrong. Please try again.", "Restart Quiz"

Set defaults for your whole shop

  1. Go to Settings in PerfectMatch.

  2. Scroll to the Localization section.

  3. Edit any label and click Save. Your defaults apply to all your quizzes.

Override labels for a single quiz

  1. Open the quiz in the quiz builder.

  2. Click the Text labels tab in the left icon bar.

  3. Change any label — it overrides the shop default for this quiz only. Labels you leave untouched keep using your shop defaults.

What about the quiz questions themselves?

Labels cover the fixed widget text. The quiz content — questions, answers, and result copy — is written by the AI in the language you choose during generation: Auto (follows your store's primary language) or any of 24 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Arabic, and more. You'll find the Language setting in the quiz creation wizard's settings. You can also edit any question or answer text directly in the builder.

Prices and currency

Product prices on the results page automatically follow your store's currency and formatting — there's nothing to configure.
