Feedback for Good is Performance Leader's CSR programme. It connects the everyday act of giving feedback with a charitable donation, so that building a feedback culture in your firm also supports causes your people care about.
It is optional, it runs alongside Fast Feedback rather than changing how it works, and any firm using Fast Feedback can take part.
How it works
Your firm nominates three charities. Most firms draw these from their existing CSR programme, so the campaign reinforces commitments they have already made.
You set a feedback target and a campaign period. A common target is around ten feedback interactions per person per year.
People vote as they give feedback. Each time someone gives or requests feedback through Fast Feedback, they can place a token with one of your three charities.
We donate at the end of the campaign. Performance Leader donates 2.5% of your annual software licence fee, split across the three charities in proportion to the tokens each received.
The aim is not to gamify performance. It is to reinforce a firm-wide habit while extending the impact of the feedback people are already giving.
The charities your firm would be joining
Since 2022, firms running Feedback for Good have supported more than 35 charities across the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
In the UK and Ireland that has included legal-sector causes such as LawWorks, the London Legal Support Trust and the Mary Ward Legal Centre, alongside Refuge, Centrepoint, Papyrus, Action Tutoring and The Sick Children's Trust. In Australia it has included Beyond Blue, Lifeline, the Cancer Council, Minus18 and the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network.
The full list is on the Feedback for Good page on our website. It is worth a look before you choose your three — both for ideas, and because it shows the kind of company your firm would be keeping.
Getting your firm behind it
The firms that get the most out of Feedback for Good treat it as a campaign rather than a setting.
Choose charities your people already recognise. Drawing from your existing CSR programme means you are reinforcing a commitment rather than introducing a new one.
Announce it properly. A short message from a firm leader explaining why these three charities, and what the target is, does more for participation than any in-app prompt.
Hang it on a date. Firms often build a push around something like World Gratitude Day, which gives people a reason to give feedback that week rather than eventually.
Share progress partway through. The campaign tab (below) gives you the numbers to do this. Seeing the total move is what creates the buzz.
Tracking a live campaign
Once your campaign is running, administrators can follow it from Manage Apps > Fast Feedback > the Feedback for Good tab.
The tab shows:
Total donations raised to date
Current campaign dates, so you can see the period you are measured over
Current campaign token progress against your target
Manage Charities, where your nominated charities are configured
Outstanding token payments and a full payment history, with the date, charity, period, token count, amount, method and receipt for each donation processed
This is the page to open when someone asks how the campaign is going, or when you want to share progress with the firm partway through.
Registering your interest
Setting up a campaign starts with a short form. It captures the details we need to get you going — your nominated charities, your target, and your campaign dates.
Set up Feedback for Good — read the programme summary and complete the setup form.
Your Customer Success Manager will pick it up from there and confirm the details with you before anything goes live. There is no cost to your firm and no change to how Fast Feedback works for your people.

Common questions
Do we have to use our existing charities?
No, but most firms do. Drawing on your existing CSR programme means the campaign supports commitments your people already recognise.
Does it cost us anything?
No. The donation comes out of Performance Leader's revenue, not your budget — it is 2.5% of the licence fee you are already paying.
What if people do not want to take part?
Placing a token is optional every time. Feedback works exactly as normal whether or not someone chooses to vote.
Do we have to hit the target to trigger a donation?
The target is there to give your firm something to aim at and to focus the campaign. Your Customer Success Manager will confirm how the target applies to your campaign when you set it up.
Can we run it more than once?
Yes. Campaigns run over 12 months, and firms commonly repeat them year on year with the same or different charities.
Who do we talk to?
Your Customer Success Manager. Submit the form above and they will be in touch.
