If you have a double Perifit Pump and are facing a suction issue with one of them, here is a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot :
Pump for one session to identify which pump is working as expected and which isn’t.
Once identified, take the faulty Pump and remove the block of components as a whole without disassembling it (the flange, connector, valve, diaphragm, and bottle) and put it onto the other pump.
Do the same with the well-working pump and put its block of silicone parts on the malfunctioning pump.
Pump for another session.
Did the problem move from one pump to the other one?
If YES, disassemble the faulty block and start swapping the parts from one pump to the other (this time only one part at a time) until you find the one that is causing the pump to lose its suction and replace it.
Start with the connector. Is the suction back?
Continue with the little duckbill valve. (You can find one spare valve in the accessory pocket, received in the box of the pump).
Then, replace the diaphragm.
And last but not least - the bottle.
While doing the swaps, check that there is no crack or damage in any of the parts. If so, you can order silicone spare parts on the Perifit website.
If you performed all the steps above, and the issue persists, please refer to this article.
If none of the above solutions work, please contact our customer support at support@perifit.co with a video of your pump in operation (filmed close enough to capture the sound) to help diagnose the problem.
