Adding a transaction amount
Click the plus (+) icon next to Transactions amount.
Enter the amount in the Value field. The system uses this to calculate the discount based on the card setup. For example, if the card gives 1% discount and you enter $50, the system calculates and applies a $0.50 discount
Enter the same amount in the Purchase amount field.
Optionally add a Comment.
Click Apply.
The transaction appears in the history as a discount amount. The LTV, total visits, and cumulative spending all increase, moving the customer closer to the next discount tier.
Deducting a transaction amount
If a transaction amount was entered incorrectly, you can correct it from the profile.
Click the minus (−) icon next to Transactions amount.
Enter the amount to deduct in the Value field.
Enter the same amount in the Purchase amount field.
Optionally add a Comment.
Click Apply.
The transaction appears in the history as a refund of the amount spent. The LTV and cumulative spending decrease accordingly.

FAQs
How does adding a transaction amount affect the customer's discount tier?
The system tracks cumulative spending. When the total reaches the next tier threshold (shown in "To the next discount level"), the customer automatically upgrades to a higher discount percentage.
What's the difference between the Value and Purchase Amount fields?
Enter the same amount in both fields. The Value field is what the system uses to calculate the discount. The Purchase Amount field records the monetary value of the transaction for reporting.
What does "Total savings" mean?
Total savings shows the cumulative amount the customer has saved through their discount across all transactions.
If I deduct a transaction amount, does the customer's tier change?
The cumulative spending decreases, which may affect the customer's progress toward the next tier. However, tier downgrades depend on your card configuration and how the thresholds are set.
Can I see how close a customer is to the next tier?
Yes. The "To the next discount level" field shows exactly how much more the customer needs to spend to reach the next tier.
