How does Address Autocomplete with Google Maps work in my funnel?

Learn how Address Autocomplete and ZIP code detection can improve your lead quality and user experience.

Sound familiar? Your funnels are running well, but the data quality suffers in the end. Users enter their address – but often incorrectly or incompletely. That ends now! Our Address Autocomplete feature makes address input a breeze – thanks to Google Maps-powered autocomplete and smart ZIP code validation.

TL;DR

  • Address Autocomplete uses Google Maps to auto-fill address fields and validate ZIP codes, cutting down on typos and incomplete entries.

  • Add a Form block with location fields (Street, City, Country, or ZIP Code), then turn on the autocomplete toggle in the sidebar - you can enable it per field.

  • Use the Allow custom address setting to allow your funnel visitors to enter their address manually or modify the Google Maps suggestion.

ℹ️ This feature is available from the Advanced Plan (Legacy) /Expand Plan (New) onwards, or as part of the Premium Block Suite.

What Address Autocomplete does for you

Manual address input often leads to errors, which negatively affect data quality and downstream processes. Our Address Autocomplete feature offers:

  • Higher data quality:
With Google Maps integration, address fields are auto-filled, reducing typos and incomplete entries.

  • More efficient lead qualification:
Automatic ZIP code detection and validation allow you to segment leads based on geographic criteria later on.

  • Improved user experience:
Your users benefit from a faster and more intuitive form-filling experience, reducing drop-off rates.

How to enable/disable Address Autocomplete

Setup is super simple:

  1. Insert a form block
Add a form block to your funnel.

  2. Add location fields
Add one or more of the following fields, depending on the information you need from your lead:
Street, City, Country, or ZIP Code.

  3. Enable Auto-Complete
In the left sidebar, toggle the address autocomplete setting on. This activates Google Maps-based autocomplete.

💡 Tip: You can toggle the Address autocomplete feature for each address field individually – for example, only enable it for the Street, City, Country, or ZIP code fields.

If you're using the Full Address field, you can take your Address autocomplete one step further by using the Allow custom address setting.

When the Allow custom address setting is enabled, your funnel visitors can select addresses suggested via Google Maps from the dropdown and also freely modify them.

When the Allow custom address setting is disabled, only addresses suggested by Google Maps in the dropdown can be selected. Funnel visitors will not be able to enter custom or invalid addresses in the address field.
