How do I connect my LinkedIn Insight Tag via direct Integration?

1. Open your funnel in the editor and click on settings, in the upper right corner.

2. Select there the tab "Integrations".

3. Click on "LinkedIn Insight Tag".


4. Now open your LinkedIn Campaign Manager in a new browser window and switch to Analytics. Click "I'm using a tag manager" to create the partner ID for your Insight tag, which you can connect to Perspective.

5. Copy now the partner ID.

6. Switch back to your funnel in the editor and paste the copied partner ID in the "Partner ID" field.

7. Click "Save" and then republish your funnel to make the tag active on the funnel.

How do I connect the LinkedIn Insight Tag via Google Tag Manager?

You need to have Google Tag Manager installed to be able to forward the events without a problem.

  1. First, open your funnel editor.

  2. Click on the button of your contact form in your funnel.

  3. Then, copy the tracking ID that appears in the edit bar on the left side of the page.

  4. Open your Google Tag Manager account.

  5. Once you’re done, create an event based on the tracking ID of your funnel.

  6. Head over to your LinkedIn Ad account and create a new conversion there.

  7. Then, select "Event Specific Pixel Tracking".

  8. Copy your LinkedIn conversion image tag.

  9. Afterwards, add the respective tag (as a Custom HTML Event) to your Google Tag Manager.

  10. Lastly, publish your Google Tag Manager settings.
