Connect a domain to Perspective in order to publish your funnels on it. All you need to do this, is a registered domain and access to the account where you registered the domain.

This is how it works:

To connect your own domain to your funnel, first add this domain to your perspective account:

Now switch to your domain provider and create a so-called "CNAME" (Canonical Name) entry for the domain you have linked.

When creating your CNAME record, your domain provider will ask you for 2 important values:

1. Host

This depends on the type of domain you use:

For connecting a subdomain (e.g. jobs.domain.co or www.domain.co):
-> Enter the subdomain part of your domain (this is the part before the first dot, i.e. jobs at jobs.domain.co)

For connecting a top-level/root domain (e.g. domain.co):
-> Simply enter an "@" here

Note 💡
Some domain providers do not allow CNAME entries for top-level/root domains. However, such a CNAME entry is mandatory for connecting the domain. If this is the case with your domain provider, we recommend simply using a subdomain or changing the domain provider.

2. Target/Value

Here you enter cname.perspective-dns.com.

CNAME Examples

jobs.domain.com (= Subdomain)
Host: jobs
Value: cname.perspective-dns.com.

domain.com (= Top-Level/Root Domain)
Host: @
Value: cname.perspective-dns.com.

Can I use the domain of my website?

Your funnel cannot run on the same domain as your website.

If you connect your domain with us, you set up a redirect to Perspective with the CNAME entries. Since your visitor cannot be on 2 pages (website and funnel) at the same time when he calls up the domain, you must use a subdomain of your website or another root domain for your funnel.

How can I publish my funnel on my newly linked domain?

Once your domain is successfully linked and connected through the CNAME record, you can use this guide to publish your funnels on the domain.

Note 💡

In case you cannot access the funnel yet, please don’t be alarmed. Depending on the domain provider, the recognition of the CNAME entry can take up to 24 hours. Therefore, you might have to wait a little bit longer until the funnel becomes visible on your domain.
