In short, a domain is an internet address, for example, "www.mycompany.de". You can rent domains and link them to your funnel so that your funnel is accessible over the internet.

Here’s a quick overview of the anatomy of a URL:

Each Perspective Funnel already comes with a pre-installed domain, so you don't have to think about having your own.

If you’ve already purchased your own domain, you can easily link your domain to your Perspective account at any time and publish your funnel on a subdomain (Tutorial to connect your own domain).

💡 For more info about what kind of domains you can use for your funnel, read THIS article.

Why use a subdomain for my funnel?

  • Adds a personal touch to your funnels and ultimately increases your brand awareness.

  • Creates more trust for your web visitors

  • Adds extra context to your funnels, giving you the opportunity to reinforce what your pages are about

  • Manage your funnels separately from your main website while maintaining brand consistency. This makes it easy to create and edit campaigns on the fly, all possible without needing to know code or needing help from a developer.
