Create CNAME entry

To fully link the domain to Perspective, you need to create a CNAME record with your domain registrar. Only then will the funnels be accessible on this linked domain.

1. log in to the account https://all-inkl.com/login/

2. switch to the "Technische Verwaltung" area

3. click on "KAS Login" in your domain contract

4. a new window opens with the technical administration area

5. now switch to Tools > "DNS Einstellungen"

6. click on the edit icon next to the domain

7. click on "create new DNS record

8. fill in the fields and click on save

Name: Enter the subdomain part of your domain (this is the part before the first dot, i.e. jobs at jobs.domain.co)

Typ/Prio.: CNAME (0)

Data: cname.perspective-dns.com.

9. the CNAME entry was created successfully

10. check the status of the domain or call the tutorial again

Note 💡

Depending on the domain provider, the recognition of the CNAME entry takes up to 24 hours and thus also the waiting time until the funnel becomes visible on your domain.

Set up redirection

If you want to use your domain without the subdomain part (i.e. www.), you have to set up a redirect for it.

1. switch to the domain section

2. Click on the edit icon next to the domain

3. Change the target settings and save the changes

  • Domain forwarding (redirect)

  • "https://www.domain.com" (replace "domain.com" with your domain name)

  • Status 301 - Moved Permanently

4. The redirection was successfully set up

Note 💡

Please note that our SSL certificate only works for the linked domain (www.domain.com). You therefore need a separate SSL certificate for the root domain (domain.com). If this certificate is missing, security warnings can be generated by the browser as soon as a funnel is called.

Here you can find instructions on how to purchase an SSL certificate from All-Inkl and then integrate it for your domain.
