The foundation of successful marketing is related to how well you know your target group. Ideally, you want to understand them better than they understand themselves, or at least better than your competitors do.
Define a clear, specific target group
Know the specific problems/bottlenecks of your target audience and understand their so-called "pain points" (what your target group does not want anymore)
Know the specific needs/wants/dreams of your target audience
This should be your starting point as there are 2 main motivations that determine our actions:
Away from current starting point = Away from pain
Towards our motivation = Towards desire/pleasure
When you find out what the exact problems/bottlenecks and desires/dreams/needs of your target audience are, your marketing message is much more likely to be noticed.
As such, your potential customers will feel understood and valued and are therefore likely to respond to your offer.

Create surveys that address your target group
Offer free WIN-WIN conversations for a limited period of time. Use those to ask your target group specific questions to better understand their minds. In return, you give advice on their current challenges.
